The Driver's station wagon

The Driver's station wagon, a previously unknown Remnant, is the one thing keeping them alive as they explore the Zone. It can be outfitted in the Auto Shop with various parts and gadgets to improve The Driver's chances of survival. It may also be visually customized to fit the player's preferences.

The car is closely modeled after the 1989 Buick LeSabre Estate owned by Ironwood Studios lead Alexander Dracott.

A promotional copy of the car's user manual distributed to YouTube user CohhCarnage identifies the station wagon as a product of fictional manufacturer Radius Motors called the "1983 Station Wagon".

Many different types of cosmetics are available to apply to the Car. These take the form of spray paint, decal kits, and accessories. While the paint and decals can be used immediately when found, accessories will need to be recovered from the game world and placed in the Detailing Station before they can be used.
