It's not simply that energy from raindrops is being converted into electricity. It's that acid and heavy metals sometimes present within the Zone's rainfall are being so utilized. So probably don't drink the water.

Personal recommendation from the editor: Honestly, seems like a gamble to me. It does generate a tad bit more power than a wind turbine, so I'd suggest having one in the trunk and to put it on during rain.
