It seems localized time dilation is possible, albeit within a contained space and demanding substantial energy. This device should reduce the apparent passage of time. It may also cause confusion, nausea, and flatulence.

Slows down flow of time to roughly 10% of that when normal. Applies to all world elements EXCEPT vehicle steering and UI elements. For example the player would notice vehicle ignition or first aid healing would take significantly longer, while the vehicle would be much easier to steer.
This ability would automatically deactivate if The Driver leaves vehicle.
