Sure, the battery cost for this protective device is significant, but in retrospect it was so obvious that the projection and then suspension of semimagnetized plasma ions in a rapidly oscillating spinor field would provide a substantial physical safeguard. Like, duh.

Use
This device can be used against anomalies that attach to your car such as Abductors and Bunnies. Upon activation it will form a shield around your car that will remain active until deactivated. Uses energy only upon absorbing a hit (0.25kw per hit). Absorbs cca 50% electrical, acid and impact damage, however it does NOT protect against radiation. Range is slightly smaller than LIMpulse emitter so Bunnies might still stick to your roof attachments (credit to @johnunknown in the Pacific Drive Discord server for the info).
The effect of several activated LIM-shields adds up, bringing the total resistance of the car to 90%, which makes you almost invulnerable.
Unlike most other blueprints, which are obtained through the Fabrication Station, the blueprint for this device is acquired via plot progression in the mission The Deep Zone Crossing.
