In the distant past, many early cars were electric. Then the combustion engine kicked them to the curb. But with LIM tech, magnets calibrated by an on-board computer, and a generous dose of plasma power, the Amplified Magnetic Propulsion Engine is the engine of the future.

Unlike the rest of the engines, this one feeds from the car's batteries rather than fuel tanks. Performance-wise, it sits between Turbolight Engine and LIM-Chipped Engine.
Since the in-game power consumption stat is not particularly indicative of its practical benefits and drawbacks, the following test data may be useful for anyone contemplating this engine.
With All-Terrain Tires, 1 kW of energy allows:
- ~133 seconds of idle time
- accelerating from standstill to 40-50 MPH on dirt or paved roads
- cruising near top speed for ~10 seconds
The following break-even speeds may be useful for balancing the power consumption with Mini Turbines (ignoring power consumption from headlights, etc.):
