Personal recommendation from the editor: Use this until you can afford an XL Roof Storage or A Trunk In The Trunk. You won't be running out of storage in early-game runs all that much, but this thing is there as a safeguard and trust me, you do NOT want to run out of storage space on runs. For very late game, it picks back up again in value, as it allows you to carry more spare parts (tires, lights, repair stuff) which can easily save a run.
