The energy demands of an increasingly modified car mean an extra battery here or there is greatly appreciated. This is sealed and insulated well enough that it almost certainly won't give you an electric shock.

Personal recommendation from the editor: One of the first upgrades you should be getting early on in the game, along with the Side Fuel Tank. You'll find yourself running out of energy soon enough, so get this ASAP. I personally use it with the High-Capacity Battery and 2 Mini Turbines, which pretty much lets me have infinite power.
