Pacific Drive | Trailer 2023

Uploaded to the Ironwood Studios Youtube channel on September 14th 2022, the Pacific Drive | Trailer 2023 was the first look at the studio's first title release, Pacific Drive.

Summary

The atmospheric trailer introduces the setting of the game through multiple environmental shots throughout the trailer as well as through voiceovers to set the tone of the game. The Station Wagon is the main focus of the trailer, being the focus of majority of shots both in first and third person. Anomalies such as Rotten Eggs, Can Openers, Bollards, Tourists, Hopped-up Hares and Spark Towers are also featured in this trailer. The trailer ends on the main title screen with the text "Coming 2023".

Music used in this trailer is 'Doctor Juice' by Leon Laudenbach which was later used in the radio soundtrack, 'Instability' and 'The Remnant' from the game soundtrack composed by Wilbert Roget II.

2023

Pacific Drive | 2023 Gameplay Trailer

Uploaded to the Ironwood Studios Youtube channel on February 10th 2023, the Pacific Drive | 2023 Gameplay Trailer highlights the gameplay for the upcoming release.

Summary

The trailer highlights the vehicle crafting and repair, scrapping vehicles with the Scrapper and the damage indicator screen game mechanics. It is heavily focused on the swapping out of parts such as Doors and Panels as well as shows off various Paint colors that can be used on the Station Wagon. Anomalies such as Bunnies, Spark Towers, Abductors, Pickpockets, Can Openers and Colossal Cappy are featured in the trailer alongside the instability storm and also is the first look at Gateways.

An ARDA training tape voiceover is featured as the voiceover for the entire trailer, which discusses harsh Zone conditions, tools, borrowing from surroundings, unusual phenomena, the instability and personal methods of creative expression.

The trailer ends on the main title screen with the text "Now Available To Wishlist" followed by the Steam, Epic Games Store and PS5 logos.

Pacific Drive | Story Trailer

Uploaded to the Ironwood Studios Youtube channel on August 24th 2023, the Pacific Drive | Story Trailer highlights the story for the upcoming release.

Summary

The trailer's main focus is the voiceover by Oppy, Tobias, Francis and an unknown forth voice whilst cinematic shots of gameplay footage runs in the background. The voiceovers are mostly lines from the game discussing breachers, remnants and anomalies. Pacific Drive | Release Date Trailer

Uploaded to the Ironwood Studios Youtube channel on December 1st 2023, the Pacific Drive | Release Date Trailer highlights the story, car, anomalies and the Zone itself for the upcoming release.

Summary

The trailer opens on a black an white introduction to the Olympic Peninsula cut off by an ARDA warning. Following this introduction the trailer is mainly short cinematic gameplay clips that periodically cut to text pertaining to gameplay and story overlaid with voiceover mainly by Chiaki Saruhashi and guests on Frequency File referring to the history of the Zone. The trailer ends on the main title screen with the text "February 22 2024, Wishlist Now" followed by the Steam, Epic Games Store and PS5 logos.

Pacific Drive | Year of the Dragon Free Update

Uploaded to the Ironwood Studios Youtube channel on April 26th 2024, the Pacific Drive | Year of the Dragon Free Update highlights the new Year of the Dragon decal.

Summary

The begining of the trailer reuses clips from previous trailers of the Station Wagon driving and crashing before pulling into the Auto Shop and being repaired. The trailer then shows off the new decal with various paint colors before the car drives out of the Auto Shop and along the road leading to the Access Checkpoint. The trailer then cuts to a screen with an image of the Station Wagon painted crimson with the Year of the Dragon decal behind the Auto Shop. Text is overlaying the image reading "Year of the Dragon Decal Available In Game Now" followed by the Steam, Epic Games Store and PS5 logos.

Summary

The trailer induces new features such as cluster spawning of Structures, suspend run feature, improved tool upgrades for the Thermal Vacuum and Plasma Scrapper, Ida's Exchange, new radio music, new Faxes and the new Expeditions game mode. Pacific Drive: Whispers in the Woods Reveal Trailer

Uploaded to the Ironwood Studios Youtube channel on September 10th 2025, the Pacific Drive: Whispers in the Woods Reveal Trailer was the first look at the new paid DLC Whispers in the Woods. It was released at the end of a since deleted livestream on Ironwood Studios' Youtube channel titled 'can you see?' as a part of the Pacific Drive: Whispers In The Woods ARG.

Summary

The trailer has more of a horror tone than prior trailers. It opens on shots of the environment and shots from the start of the game including red tinged close ups of the Station Wagon in the shed where it is found at the start of the game and of the Driver in the Station Wagon at the start of the game. There are also shots of the Auto Shop, the Station Wagon leaving the Auto Shop and first person footage of the interior of the Auto Shop immediately afterwards. A tunnel scene from the Pacific Drive | Story Trailer is reused and expanded upon with the Station Wagon running over the camera. The second half of the trailer is voiced over by an unknown character voiced by Avalon Penrose as atmoshperic shots of the environment and the Station wagon play. The trailer ends on a red toned image of the Station Wagon with a statue looming over it. On its head is a glowing red eye symbol. The Pacific Drive logo is slightly different from normal as it is red and has an eye breaking up the topmost line of the outline. Below the logo is the text 'Whispers in the Woods'. The video then cuts to a black screen with 'Coming Soon, 2025' and 'https://www.pacificdrivegame.com'.
