PROGRESS REPORT, David Okada, November 12th, 1970.

Today I'm delighted to be able to report not only one rare success, but three. I'll be closing a trio of missing persons cases and sending some very exhausted, very scared civilians home. and a curious coincidence connects these people.

First, we found that Canadian fisherman who had gone missing in '67. We found him living in his boat, haul and all, thirty pounds of fish in his perfectly functional icebox. Then we found that last member of the Bugwatch broadcasting team, in a car almost as good as new. Finally, there was Clive, that Pneumatube technician, hiding in a still-powered field lab and insisting he's only been gone a week. I didn't know what to tell him.

Weird thing is, all three described Anomalies helping them out. Those things that leech onto cars? They'd leap out of the wilderness, clamp on something, and restore all power. They helped keep the heaters going on cold days, kept the radio playing on lonely nights. I wouldn't have believed any of it if I hadn't heard the same story three times in a row.

Synopsis

There is no information available here.

Counter

These Anomalies will often speed up to try to overtake your car as you drive. They will then attempt to hop on, allowing for a brief window where you may dodge them. If you fail to dodge, activation of either the Limpulse Emitter or LIM Shield abilities will forcefully remove them. Otherwise, you may get out of your car, approach the Anomaly, and remove them by kicking them or picking them up by hand.

Conditions

These anomalies appear in greater numbers when a junction has The Warrens condition in effect.
