This tool has multiple uses, but primarily, it is the quickest and simplest method of picking up large quantities of resources scattered around.
It and the Hand-Vac are the only two methods of acquiring Bulbs from Sodium Vapor Lights found throughout the Zone.
It is better than the Hand-Vac at acquiring Marsh Eggs (from Salamander Grotto), Tree Candy (from Twisted Ember), and Swamp Coral (from Neon Reef).
