Just like the alien environment of another planet, the OEZ is as foreign as it is familiar thanks to the Instability. And the best way to understand the foreign is to go out and explore it. Thats where the Rover comes in.

Strategy
While designed to be somewhat cosmetically pleasant, the combination of panels provide a good coverage from the various damage types you would encounter out in the Zone. Combined with the LIM Shield to detach unwanted hitchhikers and the Ion Shield to keep radiation at bay, the Rover is capable of exploring into the Deep Zone, where you can loot-I mean, 'extract valuable research material' to your hearts content with the XL Roof Storage, for your uses back in the garage. And with the two choices of engines available to you, the right set up and All-Terrain Tires, getting to the Gateway should be a piece of cake. And if its still too much of a struggle, you can always swap the Steel Panels for Armored ones.
