Logbook Entry

PRIVATE FIELD NOTES, Dr. Everett, date unknown.

It's my belief now that few and perhaps even none of the Anomalies intend harm. They don't mean to hurt anyone, and while some display behaviors perhaps consistent with chasing or tracking, I don't think this is predatory.

Of course, I don't mean to dismiss the many, many fatalities that we have now documented. I think the evidence shows that most are through accident or misadventure, the unfortunate consequences when one engages in dangerous discovery. Others are, I'm afraid to say, negligence or failure to follow clear instruction. It is without doubt that some Anomalies are simply much more dangerous, even destructive, than others, much as a trampling elephant is more dangerous than a frightened mouse. Greater destruction does not imply any greater intention.

Synopsis

This anomaly seems to be almost identical to the Crackling Crawler in appearance, except for its pinkish coloration. Unlike the Crackling Crawler, it does not appear to pursue the Station Wagon and will move around randomly. As it travels along the ground, it spawns Ticking Tumblers in its wave.

Counter

Radiant Dredges do not pose a significant threat to the player, but if one cares to protect themselves in the event that they accidentally strike one or one strikes the car, Puncture-Proof Tires can be fitted which have an immunity against the negative status effects inflicted upon other tyres by piercing damage. The LIM Shield may also reduce damage taken from it.
