Logbook Entry

The first time that giant rocks fell from the sky, Zone scientists believed it to be a freak meteorite shower. It was only when these events became more common that it was apparent their origin was not extraterrestrial. The cause has never been determined, but the rocks continue...

Synopsis

Meteorite Squalls are atmospheric shifts that may occur while in the Zone. They appear on the map as a large yellow blob that moves across the map. When The Driver is inside its radius, Fallen Firmaments will fall from the sky and crash into the ground around them at an alarming rate.

Counter

While in a Squall, it is ideal to escape its area of effect. There is no other way to counter a Meteorite Squall other than to avoid it completely.

Lead-plated panels, doors, and bumpers as well as the Ion Shield can reduce radiation damage, and armoured doors, panels and bumpers, their Olympium variants and the LIM Shield can reduce damage taken from crashing into Fallen Firmaments.

Junction Conditions

Meteorite Squalls will be more prevalent in Junctions with the Meteorite Medley condition.
