Logbook Entry

MEMO F.A.O. DR PATEL, June 28th, 1965.

We were right. The compound is organic. I'll transmit a full analysis shortly, but in the meantime: The acidic effects come from a solution that appears to be primarily a mix of formic and hydrochloric acid, while the gelatinous qualities come from a fatty substance that seems to include something very similar to palmitic acid. The mix is precisely balanced. Exactly how it is synthesized is a mystery. The closest comparison I can make right now is to insects that also create organic acids, though we both know that's a stretch.

Are we sure these things aren't alive?

Synopsis

These anomalies often appear in groups and when attached to the car cause acid damage as well as obscure the windshield with green sludge.

Counter

These Anomalies will often speed up to try to overtake your car as you drive. They will then attempt to hop on, allowing for a brief window where you may dodge them. If you fail to dodge, activation of either the Limpulse Emitter or LIM Shield abilities will forcefully remove them. Otherwise, you may get out of your car, approach the Anomaly, and remove them by kicking them or picking them up by hand.

Activation of the windshield wipers will remove the green sludge.

Junction Conditions

These anomalies appear in greater numbers when a junction has The Warrens condition in effect.

These anomalies will cause more damage to the car when a junction has the Dense Acid and Virulent Acid conditions.
