Bugwatch was a documentary TV show that aired in the late 1960s. It was a program about peculiar insects and the environments in which they were found.

History

The team responsible for the series went missing for over two months while taping an episode of the show.

In November of 1970, David Okada located the team's van within the Olympic Exclusion Zone. The only survivor of the team was found inside the surprisingly undamaged van, seemingly fine. (source: David Okada, Logbook entry for Hopped-up Hare) According to their own account, they were able to survive in the Zone thanks to a few helpful Anomalies who worked to keep the van running.(source: Unknown, Journal Fragment of the survivor) It is supposed that the Bugwatch team did not intentionally breach the Walls, but rather, they were filming in the area now known as the Outer Zone as the borders of the Zone were undergoing their final expansion.
