The tinker station is a defult station at the Auto Shop. It is used to diagnose Quirks. There are two upgrades available for it at the Fabrication Station.

This upgrade for the tinker station will report back to you which elements of a diagnosis are correct. A new chip also adds the ability to spend anchor energy to scan the car for abnormalities.
