Loyalty to the Fellowship comes above all else. This trophy is one part a reward and one part a reminder of the value of that loyalty. It might also be considered as something of a subtle warning to anyone reconsidering those loyalties. This was likely presented to a Fellowship member who performed some singular task, probably in an elaborate ceremony that was both affirming and intimidating.
