Synopsis
Payloads fall from the sky about a minute after the Instability Storm starts to close in. When they land, they kick up a large amount of dust and emit strange transmissions on the radio nearby. The Payload can be seen during flight and after crash-landing by a purple triangle on the minimap. Payloads have many lucrative loot tables, containing advanced survival tools, car parts, resources, and more. Since the Payload will frequently land in areas already overtaken by the Instability, players trying to loot Payloads should be prepared for heavy radiation damage.
