Battery Drain is the measure of how much and how fast an item will drain the cars battery. There are two types of Battery Drain: kW/use and kW/sec. An item that drains X amount of kW/use will use that much when activated. If there is not enough kLiM left in the car, the item will not activate. An item that drains X amount of kW/sec will drain that much for as long as it is active. If there is not enough kLiM left in the car, the item will deactivate, and then automatically reactivate once there is enough charge.

An item's Health is the measure of how much abuse the item can take. Higher tier parts typically have more Health. Certain items may also have or gain resistances to certain damage types, reducing the amount of damage they take of that type. Once an item drops to 0 Health, the item will break. As items lose more health & take more damage, they will typically gain negative status effects such as [[Cracked]] or [[Blown Out]].

Durability is the measure of how long an item will last. For one use items such as the [[Anchor Radar]] and [[Impact Hammer]], the number is smaller, and every use of the item subtracts one from the durability count, with the item breaking when it reaches a durability of 0. For constant use items such as the [[Plasma Scrapper]] and [[Thermal Vacuum]], the durability is measured in tenths of a second, with the item breaking when it reaches a durability of 0. Durability is shown when hovering over an item in an inventory, as well as when holding the item. A yellow warning will appear under the durability bar when it is below ~20% durability, and a red warning will appear below ~10% durability.

Stack Size is the number of identical items that can fit into the same grid slot. For most resources, this number is 20. For bigger resources like [[Gear]]s and [[Steel Sheet]]s, the stack size is 10. [[MRE]]s stack to 5, and [[First Aid Kit]]s, [[Repair Putty]], and all repair kits stack to 3. Items such as large craftables (panels, doors, batteries, etc), decoration items (decals, spray paint, garage deco), tools ([[Scrapper]]s, [[Impact Hammer]]s, [[Prybar]]s, etc), and [[Hands Only]] items will not stack.

Item Size (Grid Units) refers to how much space a item takes up in a storage container. Items are able to be rotated for ease of placement, letting you turn a 1x2 into a 2x1 or vice versa. Most items are 1x2, 2x2, 2x3, or 3x3, with some bigger items like doors, panels, and car equipment being up to 7x5.
