Pacific Drive features many different types of cosmetics that can be applied to the [[Car]]. These take the form of spray paint, decal kits, and accessories. While the paint and decals can be used immediately when found, accessories will need to be recovered from the game world and placed in the [[Auto Shop#Detailing Station|Detailing Station]] before they can be used. Cosmetics can be found in [[Box Truck|Box Trucks]], [[ARDA Investigator|ARDA Investigators]], [[Payload|Payloads]], [[Pneumatic Deposit Box|Pneumatic Deposit Boxes]], and received randomly when opening [[Dumpster Pearl|Dumpster Pearls]].

Each paint can has a maximum durability of 30 (applications), though they will have a randomized durability value when found. At the start of the game, the car's body and its panels will have Light Blue Paint applied, while crafted panels will always have no paint (i.e. the same bare steel color that is obtained by using Paint Stripper). Paint Stripper, unlike other paints, will remove decals when applied.

Pacific Drive features many different types of cosmetics that can be applied to the [[Car]]. These take the form of spray paint, decal kits, and accessories. While the paint and decals can be used immediately when found, accessories will need to be recovered from the game world and placed in the [[Auto Shop#Detailing Station|Detailing Station]] before they can be used. Cosmetics can be found in [[Box Truck|Box Trucks]], [[ARDA Investigator|ARDA Investigators]], [[Payload|Payloads]], [[Pneumatic Deposit Box|Pneumatic Deposit Boxes]], and received randomly when opening [[Dumpster Pearl|Dumpster Pearls]].

Pacific Drive features many different types of cosmetics that can be applied to the [[Car]]. These take the form of spray paint, decal kits, and accessories. While the paint and decals can be used immediately when found, accessories will need to be recovered from the game world and placed in the [[Auto Shop#Detailing Station|Detailing Station]] before they can be used. Cosmetics can be found in [[Box Truck|Box Trucks]], [[ARDA Investigator|ARDA Investigators]], [[Payload|Payloads]], [[Pneumatic Deposit Box|Pneumatic Deposit Boxes]], and received randomly when opening [[Dumpster Pearl|Dumpster Pearls]].

Each paint can has a maximum durability of 30 (applications), though they will have a randomized durability value when found. == Detailing ==
Pacific Drive features many different types of cosmetics that can be applied to the [[Car]]. These take the form of spray paint, decal kits, and accessories. While the paint and decals can be used immediately when found, accessories will need to be recovered from the game world and placed in the [[Auto Shop#Detailing Station|Detailing Station]] before they can be used. Cosmetics can be found in [[Box Truck|Box Trucks]], [[ARDA Investigator|ARDA Investigators]], [[Payload|Payloads]], [[Pneumatic Deposit Box|Pneumatic Deposit Boxes]], and received randomly when opening [[Dumpster Pearl|Dumpster Pearls]].

=== Paint ===
Each paint can has a maximum durability of 30 (applications), though they will have a randomized durability value when found. At the start of the game, the car's body and its panels will have Light Blue Paint applied, while crafted panels will always have no paint (i.e. the same bare steel color that is obtained by using Paint Stripper). Paint Stripper, unlike other paints, will remove decals when applied.

It was released at the end of a since deleted livestream on Ironwood Studios' Youtube channel titled 'can you see?' as a part of the [[Pacific Drive: Whispers In The Woods ARG]].

====Summary====
The trailer has more of a horror tone than prior trailers. It opens on shots of the environment and shots from the start of the game including red tinged close ups of the Station Wagon in the shed where it is found at the start of the game and of [[the Driver]] in the Station Wagon at the start of the game. There are also shots of the Auto Shop, the Station Wagon leaving the Auto Shop and first person footage of the interior of the Auto Shop immediately afterwards. A tunnel scene from the Pacific Drive | Story Trailer is reused and expanded upon with the Station Wagon running over the camera. The second half of the trailer is voiced over by an unknown character voiced by Avalon Penrose as atmoshperic shots of the environment and the Station wagon play. We’re now seeing increasingly localized, specific distortions across the Zone, manifesting as a wealth of what I can only describe as unexplainable, reality-breaking violations of the laws of physics. What began with small scale weather anomalies has expanded to include geological disruption, gravitational distortion, and now what appears to be extremely localized refraction, with substantial radial distortion.
 
They manifest ex nihilo at all times of day and night, always affect only a very small and very specific area, and demonstrate light-bending properties that suggest the presence of incredibly powerful gravitational forces. I saw them again last night. They always look similar, and appear at about the same time in the evening. It was just after dusk, that time known as civil twilight, when the sun is extinguished but the last light turns the sky a deep royal blue. They walked without fanfare or flourish.
 
I no longer believe they have any particular destination in mind. They walk to lead, to light the way, as if part of some ceremony or ritual. There is some sort of a reverence in this, some sense of respect for either the forest, or for perhaps the Zone itself. It seems a practiced behavior. Organized. Something they have done before, perhaps many times, and will again. Maybe the only thing they've ever done.
 
I found my old camera, the one with the long lens that survived the many moves involved in our endless relocations around the peninsula. Tomorrow I will attempt to capture and catalogue their movements, perhaps even get a closer look. Sometimes I think I see some facial feature, a cheekbone, a jawline, maybe eyes. But never a face.}}
