Synopsis
Supply containers are found everywhere in the Zone and can contain nearly any resource. They come in many flavors: cabinets and lockers, crates and chests, backpacks, dressers, coolers, tackleboxes and toolboxes, and trash cans. The exact loot that spawns in a given container is dependent on the biome and condition of the surrounding structures. Government buildings and containers generally contain rarer resources, and abandoned structures generate with fewer resources than sealed structures. Containers found in deeper Zone biomes can generate with rarer resources.

Like all resource providers, supply container loot tables are generated through a decision tree. For a metal cabinet found in a sealed building, the game will roll between six and eight times on the "Cabinet Metal Basic" tree, which in turn calls between four and seven instances of the "Cabinet Base Items" tree, as well as up to two instances of biome-specific items and up to one instance of civilian or government tools. The "Cabinet Base Items" tree contains chances for generating fabric, duct tape, plastic, scrap metal, rubber, glass shards, and batteries.

Some supply containers, like toolboxes, can contain tools like Prybars or Scrappers, and many contain cosmetic items. Dumpsters may include Dumpster Pearls or car parts.

Further to my correspondence of the 24th, I am writing to advise each and every one of you that the forthcoming "Disco Time" will not be going ahead. Moreover, I'm extremely disappointed that I find it necessary to remind all employees that inappropriate and unauthorised use of ARDA equipment is, very obviously, a violation of organization policy, not to mention profoundly unprofessional.

The lighting rigs, arrays, spotlights, and racks that we have requisitioned are precisely-calibrated, specially-constructed, magnetically-shielded sodium devices that are both very sensitive and extremely expensive. They are specifically designed to work in Zone conditions, for remote deployment, and to withstand radiation and EMP. They are not for modifying with colored filters, rainbow banners, or beat-synched variable resistors.

Frankly, I am appalled that I have to compose a memo such as this, and when I find those responsible (which I shall, rest assured) there will be severe consequences. As we continue to explore viable energy solutions in the increasingly unstable environment that is the Zone, we have begun testing the first handheld plasma containment devices. In a Zone plagued with radiation, instability, electromagnetic interference and many as yet unexplained phenomena, any infrastructure created for energy transmission has proven to be all but useless.

Hence our investigations into the potential of charged and even magnetized plasma, studying both the conductive and capacitive qualities of the samples we have contained. Plasma would likely be far more efficient than the diesel and gasoline we've been forced to haul from place to place and, if the latest research from the LIM Tech team is to be believed, we may soon have a way to make it just as portable.

At present, we await updates from Dr. Essid, as she finalizes her report on Birkeland currents. We continue to experience a growing demand for on-site manufacturing and engineering facilities, especially as ARDA's requests for custom-built equipment increase. It is becoming difficult to keep up and the degradation experienced within the Zone takes a daily toll.

In particular, we find ourselves in need of a great deal of machine parts and magnets. For the latter, it has become necessary to improvise large machines that can quickly magnetize ferromagnetic elements and their alloys, in the hope that we can mass-produce replacements.

The latest fieldwork solution is apparently to have us erect giant walls of lead behind which we are supposed to perform direct observation of the latest Anomalies. We must rush out in response to the latest sighting, build these things like we would a snow fort in winter, then hope to get enough readings and data before another EMP shorts everything.
Hello? Hello! Is that the office of Dr. Turner? No no, the other Dr. Turner? Doesn't matter! I have good news! The best news!

Your new computers are up and running! We did it! And these powerhouses are going to absolutely blow you away! We've got some of the world's very best discrete RTL-based integrated circuits, with a central processing unit running at one and a half megahertz, all of this able to address half a million characters of memory. We've even got a thirty-two bit word length. It's hard to imagine a more powerful machine. What's more, these things barely weigh seventy pounds!

It's truly amazing. You absolutely must come down and see one in action. I think ARDA might well have pushed computing as far as it will ever go!|name=Lab Computer|icon=Lab Computer.png|locations=damp_forest,blistering_woods,the_mires,the_scorch,smokestacks,red_spires|tool=Scrapper|tool-icon=Scrapper.png|items=copper_wire,electronics,scrap_metal}}

Synopsis
Lab Computers spawn in ARDA trailers, towers, and computing stations, as well as field lab setups, alongside Lead Shielding and Sodium Vapor Lights. They can be harvested with the Scrapper for electronics, copper wire, and scrap metal.
I know it's inconvenient to lock everything away and I know it requires issuing all of our staff not just keys, but the right sets of keys, and then collecting and reissuing those keys as staff are rotated and reassigned.

But ...

Please also consider the sheer volume of materials and resources that have gone missing these last few months. We've had rare substances and corrosive chemicals spirited away, compounds and catalysts vanish into thin air, even a whole cabinet whisked out of an office and dragged away by one of those ... you know.

And since these materials are so expensive, so vital and sometimes, y'know, state secrets, I'd rather we start locking more things up. Hazmat cabinets spawn inside ARDA trailers and towers and are the primary source of chemicals, pressurized cartridges, and gas cylinders. When locked, they contain more resources than when they're left open.
Fuel barrels can be found in any biome and are a good emergency source of fuel. They can be siphoned with either the fuel can that comes with the car or with a large fuel can. However, they contain only a small amount of fuel.
Sharing an outer frame like a non-Anomaly dumpster, the Friendly Dumpster is filled with a glowing blue sludge-like material, which flashes as it produces items. In addition to the one at the Auto Shop, friendly dumpsters may appear nearby gas stations in various junctions, or appear spontaneously in a flash of blue light. When interacted with, up to two or three times per dumpster, they may provide a number of items, including all crafting materials, refined materials, tools like scrappers and flares, and health consumables (like canned food or First Aid Kits) or repair consumables like Repair Putty. This makes it a hugely beneficial boon both during and returning from runs.

Synopsis
ARDA Fuel Tankers are a useful source of fuel in the Zone. They generate with steel doors and summer tires, which can be scrapped for crafting materials. A tourist holding a stop sign may generate near the nozzle when the tanker spawns on a road.
